If you have been a BookMarketing.pro client, I want to reassure you right away that this is the same business under the same ownership. I am Bo Bennett, PhD, and I have owned and run this company since 2011. While the platform and site are evolving, the mission remains the same: helping authors publish, improve, and market their books.
Most importantly, all of your books are still on our new platform and remain in distribution. This move does not mean your titles disappeared or that your publishing history was lost. Your books are still with us, and we are continuing to build out the new system around them.
A new self-service option for authors who want to save money
One of the biggest changes is that we are introducing a self-service track for authors who want to save as much money as possible and do not mind doing some of the work themselves. Many authors want more control and lower costs, and this new direction is designed to give you that flexibility.
At the same time, our full-service work has changed. We now offer full-service only through packages. We are no longer offering individual services as full-service standalone items in the old way.
A more flexible time-based service model
However, we have also moved to a time-based service model that gives us much more flexibility in how we help you. In practical terms, this means we can do virtually anything book related for you and simply charge for our time in 5-minute increments. That includes book updates, revisions, troubleshooting, publishing help, metadata changes, and many other tasks that do not fit neatly into a fixed package.
I think this will ultimately be a much better system for many clients because it lets you pay for exactly the help you need, rather than trying to force every request into a rigid old-style service menu.

We have more changes and updates coming over the next week as we continue settling into the new site. So if something looks a little different, or if a feature is still being polished, I ask for your patience. We are actively improving the platform and making it stronger.
We have also made our AuthorPass program even more attractive, and I am excited to introduce many more packages and services in the coming months.
