Two kinds of credit, one balance
Credit you paid for is yours. That means credit you bought outright, and credit that came with work you have already paid for. It never expires, and nothing that happens to a membership touches it.
Credit included with a membership belongs to that membership. The monthly credit that comes with AuthorPass is part of what the membership buys you. You can spend it right up to the day the membership ends, but any of it left unspent ends with the membership rather than carrying on afterwards. If you cancel, we write to you with the date, so there is time to use it.
